2010 Ice Breaker Tournament, St Louis


Four of the nation's elite college hockey programs will open the 2010 season in St. Louis as part of a unique two-day, four-game tournament. Notre Dame will meet Holy Cross at 5:30 p.m. and Boston University meets University of Wisconsin at 8:30 p.m. The championship and consolation games will be played Sunday afternoon, Oct. 10.

47th Annual Moonlight Ramble in Saint Louis

World's largest nighttime bicycle ride rambles through the streets of St. Louis. The event starts at The Muny in Forest Park at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, August 22. Vendor Village and on-site registration opens at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21. The event includes pre-ride activities, a leisurely 9 or 19 mile bike ride and finishes off with an after-party back at The Muny in Forest Park. NCAA College Basketball Tournament in St. Louis

The 2010 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament involves 65 schools playing in a single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. It began on March 16, 2010 and will conclude with the championship game on April 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event will also be the first Final Four at Lucas Oil Stadium.


A total of 65 teams were selected for the tournament. Thirty of the teams earned automatic bids by winning their conference tournaments. The automatic bid of the Ivy League, which does not conduct a postseason tournament, went to its regular-season champion Cornell. The remaining 34 teams were granted "at-large" bids, which are extended by the NCAA Selection Committee.
